Resilience

The transformation toward climate neutrality requires resilient supply chains and political sovereignty. Germany and Europe must not become dependent in strategic key technologies. Whether transformers, photovoltaic modules, or batteries for electric vehicles – many technologies of the energy transition rely on critical raw materials and concentrated supply chains. At the same time, new production capacities must be built and value chains diversified without slowing down the transformation. The Foundation for Climate Neutrality develops strategies to strengthen Germany’s industrial sovereignty while achieving its climate goals.
